BJD Accuses Odisha Government Of Biased Flood Relief

Floods have caused serious problems in parts of Jajpur district in Odisha.

Water from the Baitarani river and nearby streams covered many villages.

BJD leaders said the government was too slow to help people.

They also claimed that relief supplies were unfairly distributed by local BJP leaders.

They said some of the worst-hit areas were overlooked because they had BJD representatives.

BJD leaders criticized the Chief Minister’s visit and said some areas were not visited.

The BJP denied treating people differently.

It said relief materials were being distributed according to official rules.
