Kishore Kumar First Choice for 'Anand' Role
Imagine a famous movie called 'Anand'.
It starred Rajesh Khanna, but it could have been very different!
Before Rajesh, the director wanted the singer Kishore Kumar, but there was a mix-up.
Kishore had a problem with some people and told his gatekeeper to turn away certain visitors, and sadly, the director got turned away too!
They then thought about Mehmood, another actor, but that didn't work out either.
So, Rajesh Khanna, a rising star, got the part, along with Amitabh Bachchan.
'Anand' became a huge hit, a story about a man who brings joy even when facing a difficult situation.
Kishore Kumar was initially considered for the lead role in the movie 'Anand'.
Director Hrishikesh Mukherjee approached Kishore Kumar for the part.
A misunderstanding with Kishore Kumar's gatekeeper prevented Mukherjee from meeting him.
