Imran Khan's Sister Condemns Solitary Confinement

Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, has been in solitary confinement for three months.

His sister, Aleema Khan, says this is a violation of his rights under both Pakistani and international laws.

She has called for a public gathering outside the prison where Imran is being held.

The gathering will include prayers for his release and the release of others who are also allegedly being held illegally.

Supporters of Imran Khan's party, PTI, have been frustrated by the legal bureaucracy that has prevented them from visiting him.

They compare his treatment to that of another former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, who was allowed many visitors while in prison.

Aleema Khan has described the situation as an ongoing human rights abuse.
