India Adjusts Missile Tests Amid Chinese Surveillance
India had planned to test some missiles in the Bay of Bengal.
But they saw some Chinese ships nearby that could watch and learn about the missiles.
So, India changed their plans and moved the test to a different place.
This isn't the first time Chinese ships have been seen near India's missile tests.
India can't do much about these ships unless they do something really bad.
It's like a game of hide and seek with these ships trying to watch and India trying to hide.
India altered missile test plans in the Bay of Bengal due to Chinese surveillance vessels in the region.
At least four Chinese ships are currently active in the Indian Ocean, with one near a missile test path.
Two Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) were cancelled and reissued due to the proximity of the Chinese vessel Lan Hai 101.
The new missile test is scheduled for December 11 off the coast of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh.
China's presence in the Indian Ocean poses a strategic challenge to India's missile testing program.
