Sigma Review: Jason Sanjay’s Heist Debut Lacks a Strong Script
Sigma is a movie about a man who plans a very difficult robbery.
Guru wants to take money from a dangerous crime boss.
He also wants to protect a library connected to his late mother.
The review says Sundeep Kishan does a good job playing Guru.
However, the story does not explain the robbery plan well enough.
The other members of the team are not given strong or different jobs.
The movie looks good, but its music and fast editing do not create enough excitement.
The reviewer felt that the emotions and comedy were not developed enough.
Sigma was rated 1.5 out of 5.
Sigma follows treasure hunter Guru, played by Sundeep Kishan, as he plans to steal Rs 500 crore from a syndicate.
The review praises Sundeep Kishan’s energy, comic timing, action work and chemistry with the ensemble.
The heist plan is not developed or stress-tested, while the crew members lack distinct roles and skills.
Faria Abdullah is underused, and the villain and supporting characters are described as generic or underdeveloped.
The film’s cinematography is praised, but its music, editing, emotional depth and pacing are criticized; it receives 1.5/5.
