Smart Gate Access at Dubai Airport: How to Check and Use
Smart Gates at Dubai airports use facial recognition to speed up immigration.
If you're eligible (like UAE citizens, residents, or certain visa holders), you can skip passport checks.
To use it, you must register and be at least 1.2 meters tall.
You can check if you're registered on the GDRFA-Dubai website.
At the gate, look at the camera, and if approved, the gate opens automatically.
However, people with disabilities, families with strollers and children under 1.2 meters are not eligible.
