Jonnada-Kakinada Four-Lane Road Gets Clearance
The government has approved a plan to build a four-lane road between Jonnada and Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
This road will connect three districts and make travel easier and faster.
Right now, the road has many sharp turns and goes through villages, causing traffic jams.
The new plan includes building bypass roads to avoid these congested areas.
The project will require buying land and is expected to cost a lot of money.
Once finished, the road will be about 10 kilometers shorter, and people hope it will help the area grow and make land values go up.
The four-lane road project from Jonnada to Kakinada has received line clearance.
The road will connect Konaseema, Kakinada, and East Godavari districts.
Bypass roads are planned at Mandapeta, Alamuru, Velangi, and Karapa to reduce congestion.
The project will require large-scale land acquisition, estimated to cost Rs 225 crore.
The new road is expected to reduce the distance between Jonnada and Kakinada by 10 kilometers.
