AP JAC Suspends Employee Agitation After Chief Minister’s Assurances
The AP JAC is a group that represents Andhra Pradesh government employees.
It met in Vijayawada to discuss decisions announced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The group decided to pause its protest for now.
It welcomed the appointment of a PRC commissioner and the release of two DAs.
It also welcomed restored additional pensions, surrender leave sanctions, and employee health-card measures.
However, the group said several important matters were still unclear.
These included interim relief, pending payments, secretariat staff increments, and outsourced workers’ concerns.
The JAC asked for a plan to pay arrears and for the PRC report within six months.
It said the protest could restart if the government does not fulfill its assurances.
