Historic 'Milky Well' that quenched Nizams' thirst now faces neglect

Historic 'Milky Well' that quenched Nizams' thirst now faces neglect

Long ago, kings called the Nizams ruled a place called Hyderabad.

They used to get their drinking water from an amazing well with milk-white water.

This well is called 'Doodh Bowli,' which means 'Milky Well.'

It is inside an old fort called Molangur Fort, built hundreds of years ago during the Kakatiya era.

People nearby believe the white water is special and can help cure sickness.

Tests done by the government found the water is very clean, almost as good as bottled water.

But today the well is being ignored and is getting dirty.

Big machines that cut granite rocks near the fort are causing damage and pollution.

Some people hope the fort and well will be protected and fixed up so visitors can come and see them.

That way, the lovely old well would not be forgotten.
