SIT Re-Arrests Jogi Ramesh in Spurious Liquor Case
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken former minister Jogi Ramesh and his brother Ramulu into custody again for a case involving the making of illegal liquor.
They were first arrested for this case earlier.
The SIT wants to ask them more questions about how the illegal liquor was made, who was involved, and if anyone in the government or politics helped them.
The police also sent notices to other family members of Jogi Ramesh because of a separate incident where hospital property was damaged.
The court has allowed the SIT to keep the brothers in custody for three more days.
This case is important because it involves illegal activities that could harm people's health and cost the state money.

The SIT was granted three days' custody to question the brothers about new leads in the investigation.
Police issued Section 41A notices to other members of the Jogi family following an incident at a hospital.
