China targets US firms and drone exports after US restrictions

China and the United States are two big countries that sometimes disagree about trade and technology.

America recently put new limits on Chinese companies that make things like phones, routers, drones and other equipment.

America also added more than 40 Chinese companies to a list connected to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.

China did not like these actions, so it fought back.

China said its people and companies can no longer do business with seven American companies.

China also said it will check drones going to America more carefully, which can make deliveries slower.

China stopped American agencies from doing certain factory checks in China.

China started an investigation into imported printers, copiers and office machines.

An expert said this payback move was not a surprise.

Both countries seem to be using careful, targeted steps instead of huge sweeping actions.
