Dr. Reddy’s Q2 Profit Up 14% to ₹1,437 Crore
Imagine a big company called Dr. Reddy’s that makes medicine.
They just finished the second part of their year, called Q2, and made a lot more money than last year!
Their profits, which is the money they keep, went up by 14.5%.
This is because they sold a lot of their products in places where they have their own brand names and also from selling products to help people quit smoking.
Although some products sold in North America didn't do so well, other markets like Europe and India did great.
The company is working hard to keep making more money and growing.
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories reported a 14.5% increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹1,437 crore.
Revenue rose to ₹8,805 crore in the second quarter.
Growth was driven by branded markets and the Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) portfolio.
North America sales decreased due to price erosion and lower lenalidomide sales.
Europe and India saw revenue increases.
