J&K Terminates 103 Firemen Over 2020 Recruitment Fraud
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has fired 103 firemen because they were hired unfairly in 2020.
A special team found out that these firemen cheated in their exams and changed their marks to get the jobs.
The government said this cheating was very bad and decided to fire them.
They also said that these firemen cannot use any special rules to keep their jobs because they got them by cheating.
This shows that the government wants to be fair and honest in giving jobs.
The Jammu and Kashmir government terminated 103 firemen due to fraud in their 2020 recruitment.
The fraud included tampering with OMR answer sheets, fabricating records, and manipulating merit lists.
An Inquiry Committee and the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) investigated the fraud and recommended terminations.
The government declared the appointments illegal and void, citing Supreme Court and High Court precedents.
