SEBI Fines Kalahridhaan Trendz ₹1 Crore for Misleading Investors
SEBI is the regulator that watches companies that sell shares.
It found that Kalahridhaan Trendz Ltd hid a loan problem and made a fake story about a big order.
Because of this, SEBI fined the company and its leaders ₹1 crore.
The company and its leaders are not allowed to trade in the market for a few years.
SEBI also told the stock exchange to make sure the company follows the rules or it could be removed from the market.
SEBI levied a ₹1 crore fine on Kalahridhaan Trendz Ltd (KTL) and its promoters for concealing a loan default and misleading investors.
KTL failed to disclose a default on HDFC Bank credit card dues within the required timeline under LODR regulations.
The company also made a misleading announcement about a Rs 115.5 crore export order from Beximcorp Textiles, which could not be verified.
SEBI barred KTL and promoter Niranjan D Agarwal from securities markets for two years; directors Aditya N Agarwal and Sunitadevi Niranjan Agarwal were barred for one year.
