Ponnam Brings Praja Palana Welfare Outreach To Villages
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar visited two villages to listen to people’s problems.
This visit was part of a programme called Praja Palana.
He said the government wants to provide help close to people’s homes.
A new road project costing ₹3.74 crore was started in Mutharam.
He also said a water project could help irrigate about 770 acres.
Some farmers received compensation for land used for canals.
The minister promised to consider requests about roads, buildings, water, and schools.
He encouraged young people to play sports and farmers to prepare for possibly dry conditions.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar visited Mutharam and Mustafapur villages to review schemes and hear grievances.
He launched ₹3.74 crore road works linking Mutharam crossroads with Gatla Narsingapur and Lambadi Thanda.
Prabhakar said the Gouravelli project would irrigate about 770 acres and compensation was paid for acquired canal land.
He promised action on roads, Anganwadi and VO buildings, drinking water, and school infrastructure.
The minister promoted sports, dryland crops, oil-palm cultivation, soak pits, steel banks, and women’s self-help groups.
