Manhattan Theatre Club Names Nicki Hunter Artistic Director
The Manhattan Theatre Club, a famous theater in New York City, is getting a new boss!
Nicki Hunter, who started working at MTC in 2009 as an intern, will become the new Artistic Director.
She's been working at the theater for 16 years in different roles.
The current boss, Lynne Meadow, is stepping down after leading the theater for 53 years.
Meadow will become an Artistic Advisor.
Hunter said she is excited to continue the theater's legacy.
The change was announced by MTC’s Board of Directors.
The search for the new director was conducted by a special company that finds leaders for non-profit arts organizations.
