Agnimitra Paul Urges Dengue Tests After 48 Hours Fever

Agnimitra Paul led a campaign to help people avoid dengue.

She said anyone with a fever lasting more than two days should get tested.

Government health centres and hospitals reportedly have dengue testing kits.

She also asked people not to rely only on paracetamol.

Ward 6 in north Kolkata has had the most dengue cases in the city this year.

Kolkata has recorded 539 cases across 16 wards.

Officials said the number is lower than last year, but they still want to prevent every case.

Residents were told to keep places clean and stop water from collecting.

Officials warned that dengue season could continue until at least October 15.
