ATF Price Hike Could Affect Aviation, Hospitality Sectors

ATF Price Hike Could Affect Aviation, Hospitality Sectors

Aviation fuel became 5.46% more expensive on Tuesday.

This fuel is used by airplanes.

Cooking gas for businesses also became more expensive.

The price rose by Rs 9.50 for each 19-kilogram cylinder.

Hotels and restaurants commonly use this type of gas.

These price increases happened as international fuel prices went up.

The changes came during an escalating crisis in the Middle East.

Airlines, hotels, and restaurants could therefore face higher operating costs.
