U.S. Navy Uses SEALs and Drones to Hunt Iranian Mines

The U.S. Navy was looking for dangerous mines in the waters near the Strait of Hormuz.

Mines are explosives that can damage ships.

The Navy used a robot boat called the CUSV to help search.

The boat can pull a smaller underwater robot called the Kingfish.

The Kingfish uses sonar to look at the ocean floor.

When a mine is found, Navy divers can attach explosives to it.

The Navy can also use drones to destroy the mines.

This lets people use machines to help with a very dangerous job.
