Warangal Commissioner Orders Flood Relief Measures
The commissioner of Warangal has told officials to be ready and take strong actions to help the city during heavy rains.
He visited many areas that were affected by rain and told the teams to fix waterlogging problems quickly.
He also said to clean the drains and roads to make sure water doesn't stay in the streets.
The team included doctors and sanitation workers who went with the commissioner to check the areas.
GWMC Commissioner T. Venkanna directed officials to take robust measures to address rain-related issues in Warangal.
He inspected several low-lying and rain-affected localities and ordered immediate resolution of waterlogging.
The engineering wing was instructed to coordinate with monsoon teams for prompt water-clearance operations.
Priority was given to maintaining main roads and link routes, including garbage removal and street-sweeping.
The inspection team included Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajareddy, MHO Dr. Rajesh, and Sanitary Supervisor Golkonda Srinu.
