Indian Markets Stay Open for Raksha Bandhan Trading
India’s main stock exchanges will be open on Raksha Bandhan in 2026.
The festival will be celebrated on Friday, August 28.
People will be able to buy and sell shares and derivatives on the NSE and BSE.
The usual equity-market schedule will apply, beginning with a pre-open session at 9:00 a.m.
MCX will also run its morning and evening commodity sessions.
