Couple Convicted of Murder Flees Jail, Marries, and Lives Undetected for Five Years
A man and a woman who were both in jail for murdering their spouses fell in love while serving their sentences in Surat Central Jail.
They escaped from jail in 2018 and 2019, got married, and had a son.
They lived in Panipat, Haryana, for five years before the police caught them.
The police found them by tracking phone records.
The couple had been working in shops and living a normal life until their arrest.
Their five-year-old son is now in a separate room at the jail.
