Iran Consul Praises Telangana for Preserving Persian Heritage

The Consul General of Iran, Hamid Ahmadiye, visited the Telangana State Archives and Research Institute.

He praised the institute and the Noor International Microfilm Centre for their work in preserving Persian heritage.

Hyderabad has a long history with Iran, dating back to the 16th century.

Despite modern challenges, the two regions continue to share cultural ties.

The centre is digitizing and repairing old documents and manuscripts from the Bahmani and Qutb Shahi dynasties, funded by Iran.
