Telangana will fight for rightful river water share: Sridhar Babu
Telangana is a region in India that needs water from big rivers for its farms and its people.
A leader named Sridhar Babu said the government will never give up the water that rightfully belongs to Telangana.
He said the old government, called BRS, lost a lot of Telangana's water in the past.
There will soon be a meeting about the Godavari River, and Telangana will be there to protect its share.
Sridhar Babu also argued with another leader named KT Rama Rao about a piece of land given to a company.
The government says five acres of land were sold for the correct price, but Rama Rao says the land was worth far more money.
Sridhar Babu asked Rama Rao to be honest about the price of rice grown at a farmhouse belonging to an old leader.
The minister said the government's new plans will help the people of Hyderabad grow and contribute to industrial development.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said the state will not compromise on its rightful share of river waters.
He accused the previous BRS government of causing severe loss to Telangana in water allocations.
The state will attend the upcoming Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) meeting to fight for Telangana's interests.
Sridhar Babu accused BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) of misleading the public and challenged him to reveal the price fetched by paddy grown at former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's farmhouse.
He defended the five-acre allocation to Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited for Rs 7.5 crore, disputing KTR's claim that the land was worth Rs 200 crore.
