Kuldeep Outperforms Axar Against Batters Attacking From Ball One
India's spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel had a difficult match against West Indies.
Kuldeep took one wicket, while Axar did not take any.
West Indies scored 250 to win and tie the five-match series.
Sanju Samson had scored 82 runs for India.
The article says Axar depends on accurate, steady bowling to limit batters.
If batters attack him right away, he can lose that control.
Kuldeep has more kinds of spin and ways to trick batters.
The article therefore sees Axar as more vulnerable when batters attack from the start.
In the second T20I in Ranchi, Kuldeep Yadav took 1/53 and Axar Patel went wicketless for 0/63 in 3.3 overs.
West Indies chased India's 250-run target in 18.3 overs, winning the match and leveling the five-match series 1-1.
Sanju Samson top-scored for India with 82 as the team made 249/5.
The article argues that Axar's accuracy and containment approach can be exposed when batters attack immediately.
Kuldeep's wrist-spin variations, drift and wrong'un are presented as better suited to creating chances against early aggression.
