Rajahmundry Railway Station Redevelopment: Tenders Split for Speed
The Rajahmundry railway station is getting a makeover!
The government decided to split the project into three parts to get things done quicker.
This means different companies can work on different things at the same time, like building new buildings, fixing platforms, and taking down old structures.
The goal is to finish everything by 2027, in time for a big event.
A local politician helped push the project forward by talking to the Railway Minister and suggesting this faster approach.
Money has already been set aside, and now the project is ready to begin with these newly split tenders.
The Railway Ministry issued tenders for the Rajahmundry railway station redevelopment.
The project is divided into three packages to accelerate work.
The initiative was pursued by MP Daggubati Purandeswari.
The goal is to complete the project by the Godavari Pushkarams in 2027.
Funds totaling Rs 271 crore have been sanctioned for the redevelopment.
