Delhi Ministers Seek Atishi's Disqualification
Kapil Mishra, a minister in Delhi, is upset with the Punjab Police and the AAP-led Punjab government.
He says Atishi, a leader from his own party, made disrespectful remarks about Sikh Gurus in the Delhi Assembly.
Mishra shared a video of her remarks, but the Punjab Police say it was edited.
They filed a case against him.
Mishra says the Punjab Police are misusing their power and didn't ask for permission to check the video.
The Delhi Assembly is also involved, asking the Punjab Police for an explanation.
Mishra wants the Punjab Chief Minister to not support what he calls a 'sin'.
Six Delhi ministers demand Atishi's disqualification from the Legislative Assembly.
Kapil Mishra alleges Atishi made objectionable remarks during Assembly proceedings on January 6.
Mishra claims Atishi's remarks hurt religious sentiments and undermined the House's dignity.
Atishi has been absent from the Assembly and public forums since the incident.
Mishra accuses the Punjab government and police of misusing resources to suppress the matter.
