President Murmu's Visit Spurs Traffic Restrictions in Brahmapur
President Droupadi Murmu is visiting the city of Brahmapur and the nearby town of Taptapani on August 4 and 5.
To keep the roads safe and the President’s convoy moving smoothly, the police have set up special rules for cars, trucks, and bikes.
On the first day, trucks are not allowed on certain roads in the morning, and cars and bikes are also stopped for a short time.
In the evening, more roads are closed for trucks and cars, and bikes are stopped on some stretches.
On the second day, the same rules apply on a different highway.
Only ambulances, fire trucks, and other emergency vehicles can still use the roads.
People are told to plan their trips ahead and use other routes if possible.
The police will have thirty teams on duty to keep everything under control.
