UK Launches Young Professionals Visa for Indian Citizens
The UK is offering a new visa for young people from India.
If you're between 18 and 30, you can apply to live and work in the UK for up to two years.
First, you need to enter a ballot for a chance to apply.
If you're picked, you can apply online, prove who you are, and submit documents.
You'll need money saved and must meet health and character requirements.
The visa lets you work, study, or be self-employed in most jobs.
You must apply separately; dependents cannot be included.
The scheme aims to help people from both countries experience life and work in the other country.
The India Young Professionals Scheme visa allows Indian citizens aged 18-30 to live and work in the UK.
Applicants must first be selected via a ballot.
Successful applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and have at least £2,530 in savings.
The visa is valid for up to 24 months, with no extensions allowed.
