Ukraine Probes Zelensky Office Officials in $3.4 Million Fraud

Ukrainian investigators are looking into whether senior officials helped move $3.4 million to pay bail for someone accused in another corruption case.

Some people connected to President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office and a state bank are among the suspects.

Zelensky dismissed one deputy office head after the investigation was announced.

The case adds to concerns about corruption in Ukraine’s government.

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov also said Ukraine should find a safe way to hold elections during the war.

Zelensky says elections cannot currently be held because martial law is in effect.

Ukraine and Russia are still fighting and carried out attacks in several places.

The two countries also exchanged 103 prisoners each.
