Sitabuldi Flyover Height Barriers Removed After Accidents
Height barriers were put up on a flyover to stop big trucks, but trucks kept crashing into them.
Within three days, seven trucks caused damage, forcing the barriers to be removed.
This is not the first time; similar incidents happened before, wasting public money.
The PWD wants the police to help prevent future accidents, but they haven't agreed.
Now the flyover is vulnerable again.
Height barriers on Sitabuldi Flyover were removed after 7 accidents in 3 days.
The accidents caused significant damage to the newly installed barriers.
Two accidents happened on the Rahate Colony end, and five on the Zero Mile end.
This is the second time barriers have been damaged shortly after installation.
PWD officials claim that the traffic police are not cooperating in preventing accidents.
