Government Honors Top SC/ST Students in National Merit Awards
Imagine a special award ceremony to celebrate the smartest kids from specific groups in India!
The government honored nearly 1500 students from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities who did the best in their 10th and 12th-grade exams.
These students were recognized at a special event in Delhi, organized by the Dr Ambedkar Foundation.
The students received money for their achievements, with extra money for the top scorers, including a special prize for top-performing girls.
Government officials praised the students, emphasizing the importance of education, as it was very important to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, a key figure who advocated for social change.
The officials encouraged students to keep learning and uphold values like equality and fairness.
It was all about rewarding hard work and inspiring these students to keep achieving.
