Saudi Strikes Houthi Sites in Yemen After Red Sea Attacks

Saudi Arabia and its allies attacked areas in Yemen controlled by the Houthi group.

The Houthis had earlier said they would block Saudi ships in the Red Sea.

The Saudi-led coalition said they hit military sites used to threaten ships.

The Houthis said the strikes hit other places too, like telecommunications buildings and an island.

The main port in Hodeidah is still open.

This all happened because of tensions in the region, including Iran blocking another important shipping route.
