Assam CM gifts scooters to 11,250 meritorious students
The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, gave scooters to 11,250 students who did really well in their exams.
These students scored more than 80% in their higher secondary exams.
The government changed some rules, so fewer students got scooters this year compared to last year.
Last year, 48,673 students got scooters.
But now, there's a new program called Nijut Moina that helps more than 500,000 girls.
The Chief Minister said these changes are small but important.
