India's Vehicle Sales Surge in October Fueled by Festive Demand and GST Changes

Imagine everyone in India getting ready for a big holiday called Deepavali!

Because of this holiday, lots of people wanted to buy new things, especially vehicles.

This led to a huge increase in the number of cars, bikes, and trucks being sold.

Companies that make these vehicles saw their sales jump a lot compared to the month before and even compared to last year.

Even electric vehicles, like electric bikes and cars, became much more popular.

The government also helped by changing some tax rules, which made it easier for people to buy things.

While sales were great during the holidays, some people think the number of sales might go down a little bit in the next few weeks.

Truck rentals also stayed about the same or went up a bit, and people used more petrol, but a little less diesel.
