Stardour Tests Hydrogen-Oxygen Engine for 2027 Space Mission
Imagine a company called Stardour that's building a special spaceship.
They just tested a new type of engine that uses hydrogen and oxygen, like rocket fuel!
This engine was tested at a school called IISc in India.
The engine is for a spaceship called Lucas, which will travel around Earth, to the Moon, and maybe even to Mars.
Lucas is planned to launch in 2027 and will be used for science experiments and to help companies in space.
Stardour, a spacetech startup, test-fired a hydrogen-oxygen engine.
The engine was developed by Stardour and tested at IISc, Bangalore.
The engine is for Lucas, an Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV).
Lucas is designed for scientific and commercial missions.
Lucas's maiden launch is scheduled for Q3 2027.
