Salt Lake Affordable Art Fair Celebrates Bengal's Creativity
The Salt Lake Affordable Art Fair is a big event where many artists from Bengal show their artwork.
It happened in Kolkata at the Aikatan Cultural Centre.
Lots of people came to see paintings, sculptures, and other art.
The fair is special because the art is not too expensive, so everyone can enjoy and buy it.
There were also fun activities like live portrait drawing and pottery sessions.
The fair was started by important people, including a police officer and a former government official.
The person who organized the fair, Ms. Mallika Chanda, wants to make art available to everyone, not just rich collectors.
She started a place called DAUGHTOR to help artists show their work.
The fair is a great way for people to find new artists and buy art at good prices.

Over 100 artists displayed more than 2000 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and photography.
The fair featured live portrait and caricature sessions, as well as pottery workshops.
