MP CM Mohan Yadav slams Congress over 'urban Naxal' mentality
Madhya Pradesh is a big state in India, and Mohan Yadav is its chief minister.
He spoke at an event in Bhopal where a new book called 'Naxal Mukt Bharat' was launched.
The name means 'Naxal-free India.'
Naxals are people who use violence to push their ideas, and some areas of India have struggled with them.
At the event, Yadav said the opposition, especially the Congress party, is giving people wrong information.
He said their actions seem to come from an 'urban Naxal' way of thinking that slows down development.
He also said his state got rid of Naxals in time, with help from the country's leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He reminded everyone that areas like Balaghat and Dindori used to be very unsafe, and people were even killed in front of their families.
A group of adults also talked about India's long fight against this kind of violence.
The event was arranged by two real estate companies, RDB Group and Primark Group.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav alleged the Opposition, especially the Congress, is driven by an 'urban Naxal' mentality that hinders development.
Yadav made the remarks at the launch of the book 'Naxal Mukt Bharat' by BJP national spokesman Tuhin A. Sinha and Dr Alok Kumar Dwivedi.
The CM said Madhya Pradesh eliminated Naxalism within the stipulated timeframe under PM Modi's leadership.
He said Balaghat and Dindori were severely Naxal-affected before BJP came to power, with people dragged from homes and killed before their families.
A panel discussion on 'India's Long Battle Against Left-Wing Extremism' was organised by real estate groups RDB Group and Primark Group.
