MANGOS Gains Attention as AI Investment Basket Faces Hurdles

MANGOS Gains Attention as AI Investment Basket Faces Hurdles

MANGOS is a new nickname for six companies linked to artificial intelligence and space technology.

The companies are Meta, Anthropic, Nvidia, Google, OpenAI, and SpaceX.

They provide tools and infrastructure that other businesses can use.

Two of them, Anthropic and OpenAI, are still private, so ordinary investors cannot easily buy their shares.

Some proposed funds may eventually let investors buy several MANGOS companies together.

However, more than ten such funds have been filed with regulators, and none is trading yet.

One analyst says broad US stock funds already include many of these companies.

The main warning is that a popular new investment theme may already be expensive and concentrated.
