Why Anton Chekhov Resonates With Gen Z Readers Online
Anton Chekhov was a writer who lived a long time ago in Russia, in the 1800s.
He was also a doctor.
He wrote short stories, which are stories you can read in one sitting.
Lately, lots of young people are rediscovering his writing.
They share his quotes on the internet with pretty pictures and soft music.
His sentences are simple, but they make you feel big things.
Chekhov never tells readers how to feel.
He just shows a moment, like a lonely dinner or a quiet train platform, and lets the feeling grow.
Young people raised on short videos find his calm style fresh and modern.
