Maharashtra Approves ₹7,485 Crore Rabi Grant to Boost Sowing
Farmers in Maharashtra had a tough time growing their crops in the last season because of unexpected heavy rains.
Now, the government is giving them a big amount of money, about 7,485 crore rupees, to help them plant new crops for the Rabi season.
The area called Marathwada will get the most help.
This money will be put straight into the farmers' bank accounts very soon.
Even though not much planting has happened yet, the rains that damaged the old crops have also filled up the water sources, which is great news for planting new ones.
The government hopes this will help farmers have a better season and help the economy in the villages.
