India Has 20 Years to Move Far Forward by 2047: Joshi

On August 15, India celebrated its 80th Independence Day.

India's Education Minister, Pralhad Joshi, raised the national flag and gave a speech.

He said India has 20 years to get ready for its big goal for the year 2047.

He thinks India needs to move forward quickly in areas like building things, making computer chips, and keeping the country safe with energy.

He said India is the youngest country in the world, with lots of young people.

He also talked about coaching classes, which many families feel are needed to get into good colleges.

He said this puts pressure and costs a lot of money on families, especially poor and middle-class ones.

He liked the Prime Minister's idea to give free online coaching classes for everyone.

He also said special days like Independence Day should not be used for politics, and he was unhappy that some opposition leaders did not come.
