Electrocution Death Raises Questions Over Bhopal Civic Response

Electrocution Death Raises Questions Over Bhopal Civic Response

Divyarishi Tiwari died after touching an electric pole in Bhopal.

The pole was near DB Mall in the MP Nagar area.

His wife was also injured by the electricity.

People nearby tried to rescue him and doctors at AIIMS Bhopal later declared him dead.

Some local workers said the pole had shocked people before the accident.

The Bhopal Municipal Corporation said it had not received any earlier complaint.

Officials found an exposed wire near the pole and are investigating whether it caused the danger.

A committee has five days to submit its findings.

Lawyers and community groups want officials responsible for negligence to face action.
