KMC and NKDA Launch Week-Long Cleanliness Drives After Complaints

The city of Kolkata and New Town are holding a special week-long cleaning event!

The city government, along with lots of workers, is cleaning up trash in many areas, like streets, hospitals, and markets.

People are also helping by sending messages on WhatsApp to report where the trash is.

The city wants to keep the neighborhoods clean, and may keep this up even after the week is over.

The New Town area is doing the same thing, too, by also starting a cleaning campaign to take care of the garbage.
