Nationalised Banks Waive ATM Charges During September Bank Strike

Nationalised Banks Waive ATM Charges During September Bank Strike

Several nationalised banks in India plan to waive ATM charges for three days.

The waiver is scheduled for September 28 through September 30, 2026.

Customers may use ATMs operated by their own bank or another bank.

Their bank will not charge ATM transaction fees during this period.

The change is linked to a proposed nationwide bank strike.

The United Forum of Bank Unions has proposed the strike.

Cooperative banks say they will not take part in it.

They plan to keep their banking services running normally.
