Kaziah Liz Mejo Takes India’s Miss Universe Legacy Forward

Kaziah Liz Mejo is a 19-year-old student who won Miss Universe India 2026.

She is the first winner from Kerala.

She will represent India at the Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico in November.

Kaziah says she worried that she might be starting pageantry too young.

However, she followed her dream because she felt ready.

Her mother once enjoyed pageants but could not pursue them as a career.

Kaziah says she is proud to continue that dream.

She also says faith, hope and believing in herself help her handle pressure.

She began performing on stage through classical dance and children’s shows.

Now, she plans to work with her team to represent India well.
