TVK, Congress Accuse DMK of Backing BJP on Fair Delimitation

Sometimes the government redraws the lines on the map to decide how many representatives each part of the country gets in Parliament.

This is called delimitation.

Politicians in Tamil Nadu, a state in southern India, are worried that the new lines will give their state fewer representatives than northern states.

Two political groups, TVK and Congress, are angry at another party called the DMK.

They say the DMK is secretly helping a party called the BJP, which they think is unfair to Tamil Nadu.

They also think the DMK wants to escape from corruption cases by being friendly with the BJP.

The DMK says it just wants a fair deal and more representatives for Tamil Nadu.

Leaders from other parties, like VCK and CPI-M, also shared their opinions.

Some say a special meeting about this should be held.

Everyone is arguing about whether the new lines would be fair to all parts of the country.
