NSE Promotes Investor Awareness at Kolkata Book Fair
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has set up a special stall at the big book fair in Kolkata.
This stall is open for two weeks and helps people learn about investing and the stock market.
There are fun games and activities to teach visitors about money and how to invest it wisely.
West Bengal has a lot of investors, and many new ones joined last year.
The NSE is also getting ready to go public with its own IPO soon.
This means more people can invest in the NSE itself.
NSE set up an investor awareness pavilion at the 49th International Kolkata Book Fair.
The pavilion is open for 14 days from January 22, 2026, at Boimela Prangan, Bidhannagar.
It features interactive displays, workshops, and a grievance redressal helpdesk.
West Bengal has 73.5 lakh registered investors, with 9.9 lakh new investors added in 2025.
