Kumaraswamy cites 2006 Congress report against Bidadi township project

Some grown-ups are having a big argument about building many new houses and offices in a place near a city called Bengaluru in India.

The buildings would be part of something called the Greater Bengaluru Integrated Township.

Some people think building it is a bad idea, so they are walking together in a long march called a padayatra.

The march is supposed to last three days.

A leader named H D Kumaraswamy helped start the march.

He found an old report from 2006 that said the same kind of building plan was a bad idea.

That old report was made by the Congress party, and one of the people who helped make it is now the leader of the state.

Mr. Kumaraswamy also says that some people who want to give their land are brokers who want to earn lots of money.

He says they bought the land cheaply and now want the government to pay a lot more for it.

He promised that more things will be revealed during a special meeting of the lawmakers.
