Imagine someone pretended to be a famous singer, Neha Kakkar, to trick people into giving them money.
That's what happened to a lawyer in Mumbai.
The tricksters made up a fake trading company called FXOnet and said Neha Kakkar endorsed it using fake videos and posts.
The lawyer saw these fake ads and believed the company was real because a famous person was involved.
She gave them over 5 lakh rupees, hoping to make more money.
But when she didn't get any profits or her money back, she realized it was a scam.
The police are now looking into it and trying to find the people responsible.

The victim, Advocate Shabnam Mohammad Hussain Syed, was convinced by fake endorsements and investment tips provided via Telegram and Zoom.
She transferred ₹5,02,025 between June and October 2025 to various accounts before realizing she had been defrauded.
Worli Police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and the IT Act, initiating a cyber investigation.
